How to Use Cadence Transparent Home Decor Wax?

Technique 1: Aging with Sandpaper

• First of all, 2 colors of paint are selected. You must first apply the color you want to appear from below.
• After painting your furniture or the application area in 3 layers, Transparent Home Decor Wax is applied. If you wish, you can apply it to the entire surface or only to the areas you will wear.
• Then, you should repeat the painting process in 2 or 3 layers with the other color you have chosen.
• After the paint has dried for approximately 4-8 hours, wear it with aging sandpaper Sand the areas you want to have the appearance. 
• You can sand until you reach the look you want. The color you first applied will be visible from the areas you sanded and you will have a natural aged product. 
• Thanks to the transparent wax, the color you apply underneath is protected and prevents the paint from being damaged during sanding/scraping. 
• As the last step, you can protect your furniture or belongings by varnishing with transparent wax or matte finish varnishes.

Technique 2: Antiqueing with Brush and Sponge

• First of all, it is important that the area you will apply is painted and clean. 
• With the help of a brush, choose any of the espresso, brown or black wax options and apply it to the surface. 
• It is applied by blending it into the surface with brush strokes and transitions.
• The wax accumulated on the brush is cleaned on a clean napkin or sponge.
• If you wish, you can apply only with a brush until you achieve the look you want.
• Or you can use a slightly damp sponge to wipe the wax off the surface after brush application.
• With the sponge, the wax on the surface is wiped off thanks to its late drying feature, and what remains on the surface gives us an aged appearance. 
• You can continue the application until you reach the image you want. 
• If you wish, you can get an antique look in different colors by applying 3 colors mixed.
